This year, were back sooner than usual with a brand new event: WWWInterpub 2025, a relaxed, social security & hacker community meetup bringing together professionals from Gothenburg and the surrounding region.
Tickets are available from Monday, October 13th, at 12:00 CEST.
We're looking forward to seeing both familiar and new faces for a fun and social evening with the community. A day and a whole evening full of interesting speakers, some fun on-site CTF challenges, food and drinks and maybe even some late night karaoke in the excellent company of your fellow hackers!
Talks: We have a lineup of engaging talks by Fredrik Strömberg, Isabela Fernandes, and Fabian Forsberg.
Food & Drinks: Enjoy a delicious dinner (street food served in food court style), two drink tickets, and fika (of course!) along with some late-night snacks.
Networking: Enjoy mingling with your favorite security and hacker community members!
CTF: There will be an on-site CTF hosted by Outpost24 that doesn't require a computer (but a phone is good to have).
Fredrik Strömberg, slightly obsessed with creating more trustworthy computer systems and therefore frequently fantasizes about not using them. He co-founded Mullvad VPN, invented the security architecture System Transparency, co-designed the transparency log Sigsum, and most recently Tillitis Key. His expertise lies at the intersection of strategy, computer security, and creativity.
Isabela Fernandes, Executive Director of the Tor Project since November 2018. She joined the Tor Project as Project Manager in 2015, after working as Product Manager for International and Growth at Twitter for four years. Isabela has been part of the free software community since the late 90s, and in 2007 she co-founded and worked as Latin America Project Manager for North by South, a startup from San Francisco focused on free software projects. Isabela was also part of Brazil’s Federal Government Free Software initiative, working in 2005 on the Ministry of Communications digital inclusion project and participating in 2006 on a project to migrate the IT of the Presidential Palace of Brazil to free software.
Fabian Forsberg works as an application security auditor at Outpost24. He is relatively new to the industry, but what he lacks in experience he makes up for with passion. He started out in IT by working as a ServiceDesk technician, before pursuing a bachelor's degree in IT-security.
We still have room for one final sponsor to join us — reach out if your company wants to be part of making this event happen!
